A Note from our Founder

Our world may have turned upside down, but ironically it is in this time of self isolation and social distancing that I have become ever more acutely aware of how connected we all are.

I have been working with artisans in Morocco for the past 25 years and Bohemia exists to act as a bridge between traditional craftspeople and a customer with an appreciation of goods which are slowly handcrafted from locally sourced, sustainable materials. A year ago I also partnered with friends to create Magic Bus, a tour company dedicated to giving travellers firsthand experience of learning from weavers, basket makers and potters in small rural communities across the south of Morocco.

Today we face an entirely new reality and an unknown future. I wanted to share with you my determination to keep our business going, with the support of my amazing team in Edinburgh, in service of our artisan partners not just in Morocco but also India, Turkey and Kenya.

We are incredibly grateful to you all for your love and loyalty over the years and we are doing everything within our power to be here for you well into the future.
