A traditional design, these Moroccan Leather Berber Babouche Slippers in Seafoam are handcrafted by our artisan partner Khalid for Bohemia in the medina of Marrakech. Entirely handmade using age-old techniques, our berber babouche slippers are the perfect house shoe.
These unisex leather slippers have a thicker and more hard-wearing rubber sole with a heel that can be worn folded up or down. Our Babouche Slippers come with a free cotton drawstring travel bag. If you would prefer to not receive the free drawstring bag, please leave us a note on checkout.

I really wanted to love these but tbh i they run very large and as the customer is responsible for postage and you loose the cost of the original poatsge if you want a refund it seemed like an expensive option , so i kept them. As i like shoes / slippers loose fitting they have turned out ok.
The main niggle is the sole, although the main body of the slipper ( i use them only indoors as an indoor shoe ) feels natural and hand made the sole seems a bit plasticky although it is apparantly rubber. The black bit doesn't feel that it will last that long. I hope i am wrong though.
The packaging felt very considered and a good eco choice. I wish i could give more than 3 * but the sole does let the slipper down.
