The Austen Candle Holder is a pleasingly simple design and works beautifully as a single holder, or in a group of mixed sizes, styled as an eye-catching element in a table setting.
In this uniquely beautiful verdigris finish the Austen candlestick is a timeless, slow crafted piece, reminiscent of a bygone era when many of the great works of literature were penned by candlelight. The green verdigris patina of the iron gives this candlestick the appeal of a vintage find from an old antique shop or brocante market.
Handmade in northern India from 100% black iron, the Austen candle holder is crafted using the age-old techniques of the traditional metalsmith. A soft fabric pad on the base prevents any scratching of table surfaces.
